Most recently, DiMura has appeared in numerous commercials for Guitar Center supporting Fender and Gibson, and has worked with brands such as Schecter, Disney, Universal, Warner Music Group, and many more.

Hailing from New Jersey, home to rock stars like Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi), My Chemical Romance, Zakk Wylde (Ozzy Osbourne), and even Les Paul himself, it’s no surprise Dre found himself picking up a guitar at the young age of six and being enthralled by rock music. Young Dre would even dress up as Carlos Santana and put on house shows for his parents’ friends impersonating the legendary rock guitarist.

Growing up with his father who is an exceptional pianist, musical arranger, and composer, DiMura learned about the greats very early in life, as his father inundated him with Mozart and Beethoven around the house. Soon it was The Beatles, and then the heavy hitters; YES, Emerson, Lake and Palmer, and Pink Floyd. When DiMura was a bit older, his dad would take him to jazz and blues jams in New York City, often on school nights. This way he could get a first rate musical education by observing and playing with the musicians up close.

At the courageous young age of 20, DiMura set off for LA to follow his dream. Just two weeks in, he was cast in an HBO series by Emmy award-winning director David Fincher. Four years later, he was playing shows around the world and appearing as a musician on TV. While preparing for a 2020 European tour, the news broke about lockdown. Everything was canceled.

Desperately searching for a creative outlet and the connection of shared musical experiences, Dre began posting on TikTok.

Within just a few months, he had thousands of new fans. Now, three years later, he has hundreds of thousands of fans engaging with his content every day. Racking up over 75,000,000 video views, he’s also been featured in Guitar World, Guitar Player, Digital Tour Bus, and many more. Youtuber Jared Dines invited DiMura to join a star-studded line-up of prestigious players for his “Biggest Shred Collab in The World” in 2022. He also appeared on power metal guitar icon Herman Li’s Twitch channel as a special guest, and as a member of the house band on NBC’s America’s Got Talent.
